Experts will gather this week in Brussels to discuss the future of Grids & Software and Service Oriented Architectures at this inaugural European Conference, held 13 and 14 January. Kicking off as SSOKU09 ends, the first OGF-Europe Industry Expert Workshop, called Cloudscape, will explore the impact of clouds on enterprise IT from 14 and 15 January. GridCast will be there for both! |

Cristy Burne
A biotechnologist with zero experience in IT, Cristy somehow spent last year editing iSGTW and has now joined the GridTalk team to continue her foray in to computer science. Cristy has worked as a technical editor in Japan, a science presenter in South Africa, and a freelance writer in Australia. |

Stephanie Parker
Stephanie’s job is to understand how emerging and novel technologies can deliver major benefits to the private and public sectors. She has worked closely with business and research communities across Europe, China, India, Latin America and the South Pacific, and is also involved in OGF-Europe. |

James Ahtes
At Atos Origin since 2007, James works in project management, coordination and dissemination in various European FP6 / FP7 projects, currently focused on the business adoption of grid computing. He works out of the Atos Research and Innovation department in Barcelona, Spain. |

Federica Giudice
Federica has a degree in English literature from the University of Pisa. After an experience as Content Editor and Customer Care Manager for a local 'time-out' website in Pisa, she started with Metaware in 2006, working with EU-funded projects. In her spare time, she loves knitting and enjoys cooking for her friends, accompanying her courses with Sicilian wines, of course!

David Wallom
David is the technical manager of the Oxford e-Research Centre and technical director of the UK National Grid Service. When not messing around with computers he spends most of his time either trying to sell his house (not the easiest thing in Britain at the moment!), or rebuilding his 1934 vintage racing car. |

Tiziana Lombardo
Tiziana is from Pisa and has degrees in Russian Literature, Events Management, and Communication. Her passion for communication and new media led her to work in several EU-funded projects, including EGEE-II, EU-IndiaGrid and BELIEF. When she is not busy in any of the above activities she spends her time knitting, reading, cooking and belly dancing. |

Daniel Lezzi
Daniele has degrees in Computer Engineering and Information Technology Engineering and has been a researcher for the Euro-Mediterranean Centre for Climate Changes. His research covers high performance, distributed and grid computing and programming models. Since July 2008 Daniele has worked for the Barcelona Supercomputing Center. |
