Flavia Flavia Donno
Flavia is a self-confessed “grid geek” who also enjoys motorcycles, mathematical thinking and mountain climbing. With a PhD in Information Engineering (completed with a newborn baby in tow!), Flavia is interested in grid standardization, interoperability, and data and storage management.
Sergio Sergio Andreozzi
Watch out for Sergio, our roving photographic reporter. Sergio is an active player in OGF as part of the GLUE Working Group and also involved with OGF-Europe. With a varied background in research, development and teaching about grid computing, Sergio likes spending his free time behind the camera..
Dieter Dieter Kranzlmüller
Dieter is leading the EGI_DS project, an effort to design a sustainable pan-European grid infrastructure. Before EGI, Dieter served as EGEE deputy project director. Dieter is a computer science professor at the Ludwig-Maximilian University Munich and particularly enjoys parallel programming and debugging.
Cristy Burne Cristy Burne
A biotechnologist with zero experience in IT, Cristy somehow spent last year editing iSGTW and has now joined the GridTalk team to continue her foray in to computer science. Cristy has worked as a technical editor in Japan, a science presenter in South Africa, and a freelance writer in Australia.
David

David Wallom
David is the technical manager of the Oxford e-Research Centre and technical director of the UK National Grid Service. When not messing around with computers he spends most of his time either trying to sell his house (not the easiest thing in Britain at the moment!), or rebuilding his 1934 vintage racing car.

Rosa Rosa M. Badia
A computer scientist also keen on the outdoors, Rosa is active in grid projects across Europe and the world. Rosa is a Barcelona local, mother of twins and the manager of grid computing at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center. Rosa particularly enjoys the relevance of grid computing to fields like medicine or chemistry.
Sven van den Berghe Sven van den Berghe
Sven is a principal researcher at Fujitsu Laboratories of Europe. He has an HPC background but has spent the last decade developing grid middleware, mainly Unicore. Sven finds that his best ideas come when walking his two Labradors through his local woodlands—or on the back of a beer mat in a pub.
Corentin Corentin Chevalier
Corentin is GridTalk's technical wizard. Corentin has just joined the grid universe. He's specialized in website conception, particularly flash, animations and dynamic systems. He also keeps close track of new technologies and concepts, of which grid computing is a biggie. Unlike fellow blogger David, Corentin is trying to buy a house.
Stephanie Parker Stephanie Parker
Stephanie’s job is to understand how emerging and novel technologies can deliver major benefits to the private and public sectors. She has worked closely with business and research communities across Europe, China, India, Latin America and the South Pacific, and is also involved in OGF-Europe.
Jens Jenson

Jens Jenson
Jens studied maths and physics at the universities of Odense and Aarhus in Denmark, and eventually got a PhD in maths. After a spell as a maths post doc, he worked in quantum cryptography. Jens has been working in grid computing at RAL for about 6.5 years. He does not own a car, does not have a dog, and has never been to Aberdeen.
