Steven Newhouse
After a degree and PhD in Aeronautical Engineering, Steven spent 5 years in a HPC centre before moving 10 years ago into the wonderful world of Grid community. Since then he has worked in various academic and commercial organisations doing standards work, software engineering, research and programme management. He is currently Technical Director of EGEE and interim director of EGI. |

Elizabeth Leake is a Chicago-based technology industry external relations consultant. Her experience includes more than 20 years in education and research technology service and communication, including three years as External Relations Coordinator for the US National Science Foundation’s TeraGrid project. She enjoys helping researchers make a high-performance connection through effective communication.

Jonathan Brier
Jonathan is an Eagle Scout and has been participant and fan of Volunteer
Computing since the days of SETI@home Classic. To pursue the goal
of getting more of the public involved he joined the non-profit GridRepublic
as Outreach Coordinator in October 2008. |

Viktors Berstis
Viktors Berstis is a Senior Software Engineer and Master Inventor at the IBM Corporation and is currently the technical lead and scientist for IBM's WorldCommunityGrid.org. His work experience ranges from computer hardware design through software of all kinds, including about 9 years of grid computing. He is in interested in most fields of science which makes him particularly enjoy his current position. |

Catherine Gater
Catherine has a background in Materials Science and a keen interest in talking about scientific research rather than doing any herself. Having spent several years communicating science for employers as diverse as museums, government laboratories and universities, she is now Dissemination Manager for EGEE at CERN and has an international organisation to add to the set. |

Stefan has always had a passion for communicating and writing about science. After an undergraduate degree and PhD that included research projects on computational chemistry and nanofabrication/biointerfaces, he worked for several years as a science communicator for the MRC. Originally from London, Adrian has a BA degree in Software Systems and four years of commercial experience in the online industry.
Having completed a MSc in Science Communication at Imperial College, he is now a science writer based at CERN and covers topics about grid computing, cloud computing, supercomputing,
volunteer computing, networks and much more.
