Ysabel Briceño
Journalist on scientific and technological issues and currently deputy manager of the Dissemination and Outreach team of the GISELA Project. Ysabel is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Human Sciences, researching the information society. She has taught at the University Cecilio Acosta, Merida (Venezuela) campus, including courses in Scientific Journalism, Information Technology and Communication and Electronic Journalism.

Herbert Hoeger
Herbert has been a professor at the Universidad de Los Andes for almost 30 years. He is one of the founders of the National Center for Scientific Computing and has organized numerous HPC events: congresses, schools and workshops– with national and international scope. He has been involved in the EU co-financed projects EELA, EELA-2 and GISELA since their inception as a training and dissemination deputy manager.

Gilberto Díaz
Gilberto Díaz is professor in the System Engineering School at the Los Andes University in Mérida - Venezuela. Is the director of the Super Computing Centre of the Los Andes University. He has a Engineer degree and a Msc degree in Computing, both in Los Andes University.
